Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Notchless, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Notchless.

What Notchless Is

Notchless is a macOS utility that helps you open menu bar apps from the keyboard and recover icons hidden by the MacBook notch. It relies on macOS features, including Accessibility permission, to scan and open menu bar apps on your Mac.

Beta Downloads

Beta builds may change quickly and may have limitations. Some system menu extras or third-party menu bar managers may not behave consistently, and some menu bar apps may not expose every action through macOS Accessibility.

macOS Permissions

You are responsible for deciding whether to grant Notchless macOS permissions. If you remove Accessibility permission, Notchless may not be able to scan or open menu bar apps. You must use Notchless in a way that complies with macOS rules and any rules that apply to the apps you control with it.

License And Payment

The current beta download may be available before paid checkout is enabled. Paid license management is future-facing until checkout is live. When paid checkout is enabled, license terms, refund handling, and billing details may be presented during purchase.

Do not share license keys or try to bypass license checks if a paid build requires activation.

Intellectual Property

Notchless, the website, and related materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of Notchless or its materials to you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Notchless, attempt to bypass macOS security controls, distribute modified builds as official releases, or use Notchless in a way that violates applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notchless is provided without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Notchless or inability to use it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Notchless changes. The updated date above shows when the current version took effect.
